After about a day of travel, Oscar's wind-up train comes to a halt at a station that resembles a giant aviary more than a piece of railway infrastructure. As it turns out, the train's mechanism has fully unwound right within the grounds of Barrockstadt University. The station itself, filled with birdsong, is already unusual — but it quickly becomes clear why Hans's train stopped here. Barrockstadt University appears to specialize in the study of mammoths. Its foyer is packed with fossil exhibits and skeletal remains, making it feel more like an archaeological museum than an ordinary academic institution. But... it is immediately obvious that Hans was not only here — he also built some of his automatons in this place. Almost everyone remembers him. Opinions differ, but it seems he found a kindred spirit here as well. Will Kate finally find Hans? Will she learn more about mammoths? Is this the end of the story, with the Voralberg factory finally being sold? We'll have to wait and see.
