Maintal Camping on the most beautiful stretch of the Main River? We visited Aqua Camping in Klingenberg am Main – right on the water, in the heart of the Churfranken wine region. What was planned as a relaxing camping weekend spontaneously turned into a little adventure: Through the wakeboarding club on the grounds, we got the chance for a boat trip on the Main – the boat ramp right at the campsite made it possible. We also met the chairman of the Churfranken region association, who told us what makes the area around Klingerfranken so special. We thoroughly tested the campsite itself – from the cozy restaurant right on the grounds to the Main Cycle Path, which runs directly past the site. And we couldn't resist a detour to a legendary ice cream parlor nearby.
