The Day We Became Parents 💙 | Our Birth Story

The day we had been praying for finally arrived. 💙 Today we're sharing one of the most special and emotional days of our lives—the day we became parents. From checking into the hospital for my induction, to an unexpected emergency C-section, and finally meeting our sweet baby boy, this is Alejandro's birth story. As many of you know, during my pregnancy Alejandro was diagnosed with TGA (Transposition of the Great Arteries), a congenital heart condition. Because of that diagnosis, we knew his birth might look a little different, but we also walked into that hospital with so much faith and peace, trusting God every step of the way. I’m so thankful she was part of our birth story. One of the biggest lessons I took away from this experience is that birth rarely goes exactly as planned—and that's okay. My "perfect" birth plan changed throughout the day, but my ultimate goal never did: bringing Alejandro into the world safely. Looking back now, I can honestly say that I felt God's presence through every single step of this journey. Even in the uncertainty, He gave us a peace that truly passes understanding.
