Barco pesquero se incendia en el puerto de Manta en medio de fuertes explosiones

A fishing vessel identified as the "Gold Tuna" is ablaze in the harbor of Manta, Manabí, after the fire reignited in the early morning hours, causing audible explosions inside. So far, there is no visible intervention from firefighters or port authorities to control the incident. According to unofficial reports from the scene, this same vessel was the target of an attack weeks ago, when nine explosive devices were placed on board while it was docked at a private pier in Jaramijó. In that attack, the ship's guard was killed, and it is also unofficially linked to a criminal known as "alias Mexicano." Given the dangerous situation caused by the explosions, the news team at the scene has withdrawn to a safe distance, awaiting an official statement from the authorities regarding the cause of the fire and its possible connection to the previous attack, amidst a context of escalating violence in the province.
