Huawei Mate X6, A Foldable Phone With Zero Compromises?

The Huawei Mate X6 is a fresh new foldable hitting the UK in early 2025, boasting flagship camera tech and impressive specs. Besides the usual lack of Google/Android shenanigans, this looks like one of the more compelling bendy blowers. That camera setup isn't too dissimilar to the excellent Pura 70 Ultra, offering a variable aperture lens and 4x telephoto shooter. The Huawei Mate X6 also serves up a sizeable battery with fast charge support for all day action, as well as slick performance for gaming and everything else. That display tech is punchy and bright, while Huawei's design feels sturdy. Here's hoping the Mate X6 will survive for many years, especially as the price isn't likely to be cheap. Of course, this foldable is going up against some literally massive rivals like the Honor Magic V3, OnePlus Open and Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 6. So is it worth considering?
