(ASMR) Gridcannon - A game of careful card placement

Tonight, we're taking a look at a really fun solo card game created by video game designer Tom Francis. It's a cleverly designed game with simple mechanics but a surprisingly high amount of depth, requiring the player to carefully plan their card placements to win. It seems to be winnable most of the time with proper play, but some shuffles can be tougher than others. Note: This is the second version of the game. Tom has a tutorial for playing this game on youtube, but it features an older version of the rules that differ slightly than the ones used in this video. The updated ruleset can be found on his website, which I've linked below.
