Flipping LOADED Pads on the Potomac!! | MLF Toyota Series

The MLF Toyota Series on the Potomac River was one of the most challenging tournaments I've ever fished—and it had very little to do with the fishing itself. Just days before the event, I wrecked my boat, leaving me without a way to compete. Thankfully, Gary Clouse and the team at Phoenix Boats stepped up in a huge way by loaning me one of Gary's personal boats so I could stay in the tournament. The night before Day 1, I drove to pick it up, had a tire blowout on the way home, and then spent the rest of the night moving all of my tackle into the replacement boat. By the time everything was ready, I had only managed about 45 minutes of sleep before takeoff. Even with everything working against me, I went into the tournament with a lot of confidence. Practice had gone well, and I believed I had the fish to make a strong run by flipping lily pads with a Missile Baits D Bomb on my Trika 6X Series 7'7 XH rods! Did the fish cooperate?
