【アスパラガス】過酷な夏を乗り越えて!!

The spring asparagus harvest is nearing the end, and if we continue to harvest as is, the asparagus will wither. Therefore, we choose the appropriate time for each plant and let it grow and photosynthesize. This is called "standing stems," and these standing stems are the beginning of the asparagus' year. When to start? What kind of buds to leave as parent stems? How many, and at what intervals... The quality of this standing stem technique will determine the asparagus of the following year. In other words, we have to mobilize all of our experience so far to plan it. That's how important the job is. Asparagus will appear in the summer of that year thanks to the work of these parent stems, but in fact, when harvesting, we are conscious of the autumn and the spring of next year. There is also a long rainy season, followed by a scorching heat, and harsh days for asparagus. It is only thanks to this work that delicious asparagus will appear next spring. The asparagus itself produces it, so I, the grower, am not producing it. So, this period is a harsh environment for humans, but I have nothing but words of gratitude for the asparagus. It's all images so it may be hard to understand, but I made a video so that you can at least get a feel for the atmosphere.
