Welcome to another episode of Hope Lives. On the podcast today I will be sharing a devotion titled, “Where Is Jesus? The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3: 2-5, 1“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.” One of the saddest pictures in Scripture is not of Jesus outside the world, but Jesus outside His own church. In Revelation 3, Jesus is standing at the door knocking. The church was active, wealthy, and confident, yet Christ was on the outside. This is going to be a message of challenge and conviction to the church of Jesus Christ in this last day. I look forward to sharing this devotion with you.
