There is the starting four singers who are then challenged by new aspiring singers or challenger for the seat. There is the performance round or audition round and judges decide if the musician advances to challenge one of the four. Then the challenger chooses who to battle with in a sing off. The studio audience votes to decide the winner. The last musician who remains with a seat after sing offs becomes the champion.
