Presents Host Kaeden Lincoln visits with Lawrence H. White, the speaker at this year's annual Adam Smith Lecture Series at Boise State University. Lawrence H. White is Emeritus Professor of Economics at George Mason University, Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute’s Center for Monetary and Financial Alternatives and a Distinguished Scholar of the Association for Private Enterprise Education. He is the author of three books related to his Boise State lecture: Competition and Currency (1989); Free Banking in Britain (2nd ed., 1995) and The Theory of Monetary Institutions (1999). Come hear what he has to say about this important question for America’s future. The 2026 Adam Smith Lecture will take place at 6:30 pm on Monday, April 20 in the Jordan Ballroom of the Boise State Student Union Building. The lecture is free and open to the public, and parking is free in the Lincoln Avenue Garage. White is also the author of The Clash of Economic Ideas (2012) and over 100 refereed articles, chapter contributions, and monographs.
