POMENIREA DEȚINUȚILOR POLITIC DE LA COLONIA SALCIA - UNIVERSUL CREDINȚEI - 21 iun. 2026 - TVR 1

Seven decades after their deaths in inhumane conditions, 23 political prisoners, victims of the Salcia forced labor camp, were brought to light in the cemetery of Agaua, in the Great Island of Braila. On this occasion, His Eminence Father Casian, Archbishop of the Lower Danube, officiated a memorial service for those who, between 1952-1964, were exterminated by the communist regime and buried without identity and without Christian rites.
