FLIGHT Korean Air B 747SP-B5 HL7457 Seoul (SEL) - Tokyo (NRT) Summer time is flying time. Winter time is editing time. This video will be the last video to be edited until year's end. I am now starting to work on my oldest footages, starting in 1993, using Hi8 analogue tapes, partly heavily damaged. Quality is partially horrible and editing and scene cutting this material is a true nightmare. Nevertheless it is worth its while taking all the trouble to save these memories for the future. I was living from 1994-1998 in South Korea and I was often shuttling between Seoul and Tokyo on duty. Among these countless flights are also those to be considered historic from the viewpoint of the year 2017. In the 90s however there was nothing special to fly onboard a classic B 747 or a DC-10 or even this SP. The following footage is of horrible quality. Tape and camera and battery problems, rain and bad camera focus. I do not really care about the ratings of of my videos. Publishing these historic footages is my mission in the first place. HL7457 returned to Boeing and was registered N708BA, October 14, 1998. N708BA operated for Wings World Wide – The Air Medical Foundation from June 21, 1998 through September 17, 2004. N708BA operated for Transatlantic International Airlines from September 17, 2004 through December 20, 2007. N708BA was sold to Pratt and Whitney Canada, December 20, 2007.
