UNDP Empowering Women in Eritrea
UNDP in Eritrea has been partnering with the Government of the State of Eritrea with initiatives that ensure access to justice, economic empowerment, education, and health for women and promote the elimination of gender-based violence. UNDP has worked with women’s organizations and other stakeholders to provide training to increase the number of women in leadership and decision-making roles. The UNDP has also made significant investments in micro and macro credit loans, capacity building, vocational training, and development projects that positively impact Eritrean women. Empowering women and girls mean empowering society.
