These Money Sermons Need To Stop Now!

In this video, we’re taking a closer look at Cindy Trimm and the recurring theme that seems to show up again and again in her sermons: money, wealth, financial increase, success, status, and becoming “more” in the marketplace. Original video: https://www.youtube.com/live/3KKPRkyv... At some point, you have to ask the question: is this preaching the gospel, or is this just motivational wealth-talk with Bible verses attached? Cindy Trimm is known for declarations, prophetic language, and big statements about destiny, influence, power, and financial elevation. But when the message keeps circling back to how rich you are supposed to become, how much money is coming, and even language about people becoming trillionaires, there are major concerns that need to be addressed. The Bible does speak about provision. God cares for His people. Scripture teaches generosity, stewardship, contentment, work, wisdom, and trusting God with our needs. But the New Testament does not present Christianity as a ladder to luxury, status, or billionaire/trillionaire fantasies. Jesus did not call people to chase wealth. He said to deny yourself, take up your cross, and follow Him. Paul warned that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. The apostles did not measure spiritual success by net worth. The early church was not built on people being told they were about to become millionaires, billionaires, or trillionaires. So when sermons constantly frame faith around financial elevation, “wealth transfer,” entrepreneurial greatness, and prophetic money declarations, we have to slow down and test the message by Scripture. Is this biblical hope, or is it baptized ambition? Is this discipleship, or is it prosperity preaching? Is this the gospel of Jesus Christ, or is it motivational empire-building? In this video, we’ll examine why these kinds of messages can be so dangerous, especially when they are wrapped in prophetic authority. When someone claims to speak for God and starts declaring extreme financial futures over people, that is not something we should casually accept. Prophecy must be tested. Teachers must be tested. And every message must be brought back to the Word of God. Software I use (Ecamm) Sign up with this link: https://www.ecamm.com/mac/ecammlive/?...
