The Amazing Woodcarvers of Tegalallang. Ubud Bali

Talking with my friend Made, a Balinese Priest from a family of woodcarvers. They have made works for the President of Indonesia, He shows me his workspace while working on an ankle wing of Garuda. His uncle is working on Singha, the Lion from Balinese Mythology. On the right, here is a large Statue of Garuda with Vishnu. Amazing detail and intricacies lie within this statue with the wings , the piercing observant and protective eyes and what each carries in their hands.
