London Buses - Scania OmniCity Twilight PART 1

As the time approaches when the eye-catching Scania OmniCity will take its final leave from London bus operation, I believe the time is right for a retrospective of sorts. Part 1 and Part 2 of this video showcase footage of the Scania OmniCity taken both recently as well as over the last seven years. The OmniCity has been dismissed as a “cheap foreign import,” but in that respect it is no different to the MCV-bodied Volvos of more recent times. What it does have is a character that distinguishes it from a host of more nondescript bus types, and the London bus scene will be noticeably less interesting when it is gone. Part 1 features routes: 48, 65, 71, 96, 111, 183, 205, 215, 248, 267, 371 and H32.
