The battle for Tokugawa Citadel continues as the Samurai descend to the ground floor in search of the source behind the undead invasion. With the citadel under constant assault, the warriors push forward through halls and courtyards overrun by skeletal soldiers and restless spirits. The enemy seems endless. No matter how many undead fall beneath their blades, more continue to emerge from the darkness. Upon entering the ground floor, the party encounters the weary Berserker. After fighting wave after wave of undead attackers, even he admits exhaustion. The dead simply refuse to stay down, and the defenders of Tokugawa are being stretched to their limits. Realizing that waiting behind defensive lines will achieve nothing, the Samurai take the fight directly to the enemy. Led by the Leader and supported by Brick, Archer, Wizard, Swordsman, and Berserker, the group advances deeper into the fortress. Every room cleared brings new resistance. Skeleton warriors guard the passageways, while undead champions attempt to halt the party's progress. The cost of victory grows heavier with every battle. Supplies are dwindling, wounds are mounting, and the mystery surrounding the attack remains unsolved. Yet the Samurai refuse to surrender their homeland. Their persistence finally pays off when they uncover the mastermind behind the latest assault: a powerful Skeletal Mage. Wielding devastating fire magic and commanding the undead forces from the shadows, the mage unleashes everything at his disposal in a desperate attempt to destroy the defenders of Tokugawa. The battle is fierce, but the Samurai's determination proves stronger than dark sorcery. Fighting together, they overwhelm the undead spellcaster and bring an end to his reign of terror within the citadel. With the immediate threat defeated, new questions arise.
