It’s time for Finnegan’s Fish and Chips in Porthcawl. Chips Shop number 5 in our search for the best fish and chips (and curry sauce) in Porthcawl, South Wales. Finnegans have two chip shops in Porthcawl, a takeaway and restaurant in Well Street near the town centre and the one we try on Station Hill. The actual address is 16 New Road Porthcawl. Finnegans currently have six chip shops around South Wales. As usual with all the Fish and Chips shops we visit we order the same thing. Fish and Chips (cod) and a curry sauce, Irish curry if it’s available. Nothing like chips and curry sauce. We have been visiting the chip shops of Porthcawl in no particular order. These are our personal opinions and have no connection with any of the chippies. Also, we comment on the food as we find it on the day.
