Earl’s Regency Hotel in Kandy. This is a 5-Star Luxury Hotel with elegant architecture design matched to the natural beauty of the land above Mahaweli River and Tennekumbura Bridge. This is unique and one of the first few 5star hotels in Kandy. This is the fifth time we stayed in this beautiful hotel. The main lobby of this luxury hotel is always unique and attractive with tall structures. The room was quite large with ample space for luggage and other items. Bathroom is still the same old one but they have maintained it well. There are few different room types along two wings giving views over the pool or the landscaped garden. Dinner and breakfast were Buffet arranged at the hotel’s main restaurant. It's a mixture of Sri Lankan, Indian and International cuisine. This buffet used to be a lot bigger a few years back as per our memory. But the taste is still good. They arranged ‘Kiri Pindu Pujawa’ for us to offer to Sri Dalada Maligawa for early morning thewawa. We visited Sri Dalada Maligawa early in the morning.
