Real Paddlers Wear a PFD; all others are Jamokes

This is my take on PFDs (life vests). These are just my opinions from decades of paddling experience. There are many was to be safe when paddling so let this be part of your research and make your own decisions. In this video I talk about Rescue PFDs briefly. I spend some time on how a PFD should fit and why. I talk about knives and their placement, a key backcountry skill you should have related to PFD accessories. And most importantly what I carry inside my PFD. If yo are an experienced paddler you might find some of this redundant but you may learn something or at least an new perspective. If you are new to paddling please take some of this to hart. And remember real paddlers always wear their PFD. As always Please support Conservation Organizations. My current picks are below.
