Gouache wash off / resist technique
This is an exciting watercolour technique which results in a graphic painting with the air of a woodcut. By using washable gouache and waterproof ink, you create a controlled but random image. I love it and find the whole process really exciting. You need resilient watercolour paper, gouache, Indian ink and possibly watercolour paints. Hope you enjoy it! If you want to take this further, I have a paid for course over at www.lizchadertonstudio.co.uk
