Maddy Perez Style Analysis - Euphoria Season 2

Welcome to my Euphoria Season 2 Maddy Perez Style Analysis. This is a series, so there will be more character style analysis (check below for links to the others)! This analysis discusses the meaning behind Maddy's fashion and its significance and purpose within the story of euphoria. I'm also discussing Maddy's style, color palette, makeup, aesthetics, and store recommendations for people who are interested in her style. A few notes: -Though this video isn't necessarily a direct analysis on euphoria as a show, I wanted to mention that due to the poor writing for most characters and the lack of consistency in some storylines, there isn't always a clear answer or meaning to what characters do. Though Maddy's character is suddenly much more mature and coolheaded for most of the show, we don't really get any proper hints as to how she became this grounded, apart from the traumatic end of her relationship with Nate. Maddy was one of the better written characters this season with more screen time than others, but there are still a lot of plot holes surrounding her character in the overall story of euphoria. -I also wanted to note that a lot of the conclusions I drew about Maddy's choice of colors reflecting her moods and relationships are for the most part my own opinions. Designer Heidi Bivens does mention here and there things like "she wears a lot of black, which is fun" and that a lot of Maddy's outfits are in the category of "a high-school mean girl staple". She's supposed to be a more iconic character who loves vintage designer pieces, so it makes sense that she has a more "sophisticated" way of dressing this season.
