Anne, Princess Royal and Princess of Orange was born in 1709 as the daughter of King George II of Great Britain. Known for her wit, intelligence, and strong will, Anne was a respected political figure and advocate for education and the arts. She married Prince William IV of Orange in 1734 and became a key player in the politics of the Dutch Republic.
