Today’s recipe is How to Make Cambodian Vegetables Soup. In Khmer we call it Somlar Prohor. Some of the vegetables include kabocha, fuzzy squash, and mushroom. You may also use other vegetables to your liking. The essential ingredients to this soup are lemongrass, prahok (fish paste), and a lot of garlic. This soup is enjoyed with steam rice and a side dish of garlic salt and chili paste. Somlar Prohor normally cooks with fish but you may substitute it with pork or chicken.
