MEET THE ICELANDIC HORSE -- This is what it's all about.

A group of friends take a herd horses from the farm Dyrfinnustadir to a farm next to Holar College. Most of the riders, by the way, are connected to Holar. I've used this video as an introduction to the Icelandic horse on my website, http://hestakaup.com. It's old, one of the first videos I posted, but it shows so much of what I feel is the essence of the Icelandic horse and the people who ride, train, and breed them. It is all about interaction with each other. This has been going on for centuries up there. I felt Judy Garland's Somewhere Over the Rainbow was perfect for part of this story.
