SITU CIBURUY PADALARANG, WEST BANDUNG - EXPLORE THE LAKE Local people in West Java know a tourist area in the Bandung area as "Situ Ciburuy." Ciburuy is the name of a village in the Padalarang sub-district, West Bandung Regency, West Java, Indonesia. "Situ" means lake, while "Ciburuy" is the name of the village. Originally, this lake consisted of two small rivers that met in Ciburuy Village. In 1918, the confluence of the two rivers was dammed and the water was regulated for rice field irrigation.
