ELCI installation
This is an installation video of an Equipment Leakage Circuit Interruptor (ELCI). The ELCI is to be installed in boats with AC power systems and is designed to protect people against in-water shock. This device should be installed by an ABYC Certified Technician. All manufacturer's instructions should be followed closely. All safety precautions shall be made prior to undertaking this or any electrical work. This includes, disconnecting the boat from any shore power supply, turning off any on-board generator sets, and turning the auxilary power (engine) off. Be sure that the space is properly ventilated of gasoline vapors.
