Jette Clover - Friday Feature Artist

This week, into the Friday Feature Artist studio we have invited the delightful Fiber and Mixed Media Artist, Jette Clover.  Jette creates collage constructions, often in monochromatic tones, combining cotton, linen, silk, cheese cloth and paper, to which she applies a variety of surface design techniques and extensive stitching.    Being a journalist in a former life, Jette caries her love of the written word into her works with many of them featuring text and lettering  “I like words, both because of their graphic quality and because of their ability to convey meaning.” Jette has exhibited widely in USA, Europe, Asia and Australia, and has been a member of the European group Quilt Art since 2000, and was a member of the Art Quilt/New York group for ten years.  We would like to thank Jette Clover for sharing their time, artwork and knowledge with us.
