In this video I explain how to look after your flaming Katy plant ( kalanchoe blossfeldiana) after its finished flowering. Kalanchoe blossfeldiana naturally flower over the winter months and then grow leaves and stems over summer. I explain, how much water they need, light levels, pruning, feed and temperature requirements. kalanchoe are easy to grow succulents that will grow rapidly over summer if well looked after. Because flowering is dependent on day length and temperature its possible to control when the plant flowers and so the plant can go for years without flowering, or keep flowering non stop for over a year.
