Samsung SGH-I300 Default Ringtones

Here are all default ringtones and SMS/e-mail tones from Samsung SGH-I300, announced at CeBIT in March 2005 and officially released in the same year. The most remarkable feature of this device is the built-in 3GB HDD which makes it the first commercial smartphone (and the second mobile phone after SPH-V5400, also by Samsung) in the world using such a data storage technology. If such a volume would be not enough, additional memory can be brought with a MicroSD card up to 2GB (making 5GB of memory in total). One more interesting detail is the main navigation element which combines a traditional 9-way navikey and an iPod-like wheel that can rotate in both directions. The wheel is really useful in scrolling long lists (e.g. in music player or e-mail) and seems a nice addition to the basic navigation concept. In all other respects, SGH-I300 is a fairly average WM2003 smartphone with Intel XScale 416 MHz CPU, 64MB RAM, 2 inches 240x320 TFT display, 64-tone polyphonic ringtones (stereo speakers added) and 1,3 megapixel photo/video camera. Being nice in design and pretty convenient as an everyday phone, the device is not without some negative points, like relatively short battery life and quite a long data access time while using the HDD. However, I think it can be called another "small but memorable revolution" in mobile phone history and is surely worth a closer look.
