I have returned to the country where I once lived for four years. This time, I only have 12 days. And this time, I am going all in — cycling one full clockwise loop around the entire Netherlands. This is the first story. From departing Korea to arriving in Amsterdam, and then on my very first night there — an on-site scouting ride through De Wallen, Amsterdam’s Red Light District. The world’s oldest profession, and some of its oldest alleys. Hidden behind the crowds of outsiders, real people were clearly living there. I will personally explore ways of life in neighborhoods all around the world.
