HumanitZ - 35+ Days Surviving the Toughest, Most Difficult Official HZ Hardcore PermaDeath Server

TIPS / CHAPTERS, below. Server Settings: -- No Base (my choice) -- Low Loot -- High Zombie Count (Multiplier), Fast and Hard-Hitting Zeeks -- Constant Hostile Raiders, Huge Wandering Hordes -- PERMA DEATH -- PvP (won't do this) Chapter TIPS 00:00:00 -- Start 00:02:50 -- LEAVE YOUR HORSE IN THE OPEN -- Always leave your horse in an open area, so if it is attacked, it is able to run away, it won't get stuck amongst the terrain, or trapped and mob killed within the zombie crowd. And then you can whistle it back to you and escape the situation. See "CALL YOUR HORSE" timestamp chapter, below. 00:07:21 -- ALWAYS GET STONES,  HARVEST PLANTS -- Always get stones (to craft stone blade) and fibers + sticks from plants, using stone knife. You will need them to craft bandages, drill kits for fires, make improvised hammers, or other tools. 00:12:50 -- USE STONE KNIFE TO GET SHEET AND SCRAP METAL -- You can use ANY weapon to destroy old cars and get sheet / scrap metal. You can even use the stone knife to destroy rusty cars. 00:16:00 -- AVOID FIGHTING -- See how I avoid populated areas with lots of zombies. This is specifically so you engage in a fight ONLY if you have to. Fighting zombies or hostiles increases your chances of getting killed. And this is PERMA DEATH, so if you die, game over. 00:17:52 -- PRIORITIZE DUCT TAPE, SEWING KIT -- I prioritize duct tape to fix my few weapons, and sewing kits to repair the little armor and weather protection clothing I have. So I harvest BEE HIVES, and/or get JAM from groceries + harvest ANIMAL FAT for OIL so I can craft duct tape. And then I use SCRAP METAL to make NEEDLES, SCISSORS, and THREAD from sticks / fibers to make SEWING KIT. 00:22:00 -- TREATMENT / CURE MATERIALS -- I was fixated on looting the AMBULANCE because it may have BLOOD PLASMA, which I need to craft the TREATMENT / CURE. See more details in the "PRIORITIZE CURE / TREATMENT" time code chapter, below. 00:24:22 -- CALL YOUR HORSE TO TRAMPLE ENEMIES -- You can call your horse; long-press WHISTLE on your keyboard. This will make your horse run to you, trampling any enemies along its path to you, also possibly making these enemies fall to the ground. 00:25:00 -- FRIENDLY AI SURVIVORS ARE A SAFE/R AREA -- You are safer if you have a friendly AI Survivor nearby you. They can help fend off incoming mobs of zombies or raiders, and you can then build facilities, rest, craft items, etc., in relative peace. 00:37:00 -- BUILD FACILITIES ANYWHERE -- Given I have no base, I BUILD my facilities anywhere, CRAFT what I need using that facility, and then DISMANTLE the facility and move on. So, you get your crafted supplies immediately as needed, without being saddled with needing an entire base. 01:01:04 -- PRIORITIZE CURE / TREATMENT -- Given this is permadeath, if you get bitten and infected and you do not have the cure, you are 100 percent done for. So always have the cure. This is why I traded even the KATANA for BLOOD PLASMA -- because I had only 1 treatment left and I needed to craft MORE treatment (because ONE BITE, and it's over). (Also, I traded in that katana because IMO the katana is kind of... meh 🙂) 01:07:50 -- THE AA-12 AUTO SHOTGUN -- The AA12 Auto Shotgun is VERY powerful in close quarters; it can take out an entire group of hostiles or zeeks in seconds. But it is not good at long range. Thus, having an AK-47 or another (preferably SILENCED / with suppressor) rifle with you is also recommended. Notice also how you can kite / lure enemies into a funnel, and then unload the AA-12 on the whole group, ending all of them in seconds. 01:15:44 -- KITE / LURE HORDES -- You can KITE and LURE mobs using your whistle or throwing rocks or other objects. This will lure zombies away from your area of interest, and then you can scavenge the area in relative peace. 01:16:36 -- WHEN KITING, FOCUS ON LEAPERS AND RUNNERS -- Leapers and runners can close in on you fast and attack you and your horse very quickly. So take out leapers and runners as soon as you can, and then ignore the rest of the horde if possible so you can continue kiting / luring them away from your area of scavenging interest. 01:17:24 -- BE MINDFUL OF THE TERRAIN WHEN ON HORSE -- Be careful navigating the terrain when on your horse ❗ -- If possible, DO NOT RUN when on your horse or flee in PANIC -- because if you are being chased by a horde and hit an OBSTACLE and FLY OFF YOUR HORSE,  you are in BIG TROUBLE -- your horse may get mobbed and killed by the fast approaching, fast moving horde of zeeks, or YOU could get permadeath killed by the mob. This is why I always horse-trot and very much avoid having my horse run when in more terrain / obstacle filled areas. (From viewer feedback) Yes, you can use bigger backpacks. But you may end up carrying more stuff, and that will slow you down. Given you have no base, you take and carry only VERY LITTLE, or else you put yourself at greater (encumbered) risk. #humanitz #hz #humanitzgameplay #yodubzz
