Black Rocks parkrun Review | The Most Scenic parkrun We’ve Ever Done?

Black Rocks parkrun Review | The Most Scenic parkrun We’ve Ever Done? This week we visited Black Rocks parkrun in the Peak District, and what an incredible experience it was! Set amongst some of the most stunning scenery we’ve ever seen at a parkrun, Black Rocks delivered amazing views, fantastic volunteers, and a unique out-and-back course that we genuinely enjoyed from start to finish. The course isn’t your typical out-and-back route. You head out and back in one direction, then repeat the process in the opposite direction before a final short section to complete the 5K. The gravel trail surface makes for an enjoyable run, and the scenery throughout is simply breathtaking. The volunteers were brilliant, bringing loads of energy, encouragement, and positivity around the entire course. There are also toilets and café facilities nearby, making it a great destination for a parkrun morning. Could this be the most scenic parkrun we’ve ever done?
