This level crossing sits at a skew angle, and it's controlled from just up the road in the signal box beside Beverley Station as is the case with the other three level crossings around the town. This crossing has loud alarms as it's so busy, and the location's environment generally feels quite safe and pleasant - the most so out of the four in the town. Despite being so far in on quite a wide footway, one of the road traffic lights here is very battered and bent.
