Ivison Hurricane '59 Deep Dive with Joe Coombs.

Well, we went deep down the rabbit hole with this one! After a request from our UK dealer Tim Forster Guitars, we built 2 lightweight Hurricane 59's using different woods. Each guitar is fundamentally the same - pickups, hardware, electronics APART from the wood choice and, subsequently the weights. So, keeping in mind the age old forum debates..... Do lighter guitars sound better?? Does wood affect tone?? We invited our good pal Joe Coombs over and spent some time comparing them.
