Our first day in Tuscany, we headed to San Gimignano—a city of towers, hills, light, and history. It's one of the most atmospheric medieval towns in Italy, and today I'm simply strolling its streets, capturing details, visiting museums, and enjoying the Tuscan air. We climbed the Torre Grossa, the town's main tower: from there, there's an incredible view of the hills and fields. We visited the Duomo, home to 14th-century frescoes, and the Archaeological Museum to get a glimpse of the region's deep history. Lunch on a quiet street. Afterwards, we went shopping: local ceramics and leather goods—you can find unique items in San Gimignano. In the evening, we checked into the Hotel Mormoraia, relaxed, had a glass of wine, and simply enjoyed the view of the fields. The day ended with dinner on the terrace—with sunset, silence, and that characteristic Tuscan sense of slowing down.
