And of course, Macchou will probably come to check it, as always 🐾🐈 #ChickenFajitaTacos #TexMex #TexasFood #MexicanFood #JapaneseCooking #WorldFoodTour #JoCooksTheWorld #CookingVlog #JapaneseWoman #budgetcooking -- Chicken Fajita Tacos 🇺🇸🌮🥑 Easy Guacamole + Mini Tomato Salsa ■Serves 4 🍽️ Ingredients 🍽️ 🌮 Chicken Fajita 🍗 Chicken thigh (or breast)　250g 🫒 Olive oil　1 tbsp 🍋 Lime juice　1/2 lime 🫑 Red bell pepper　1/2 🫑 Orange bell pepper (or yellow)　1/2 🫑 Green pepper or bell pepper　1/2 🧅 Onion　1/2 🌿 Spices 🌿 Cumin powder　1 tsp 🔴 Paprika powder　1 tsp 🧄 Garlic powder　1/2 tsp 🌿 Dried oregano　1/2 tsp 🌶️ Chili powder (optional)　1/4 tsp 🧂 Salt　1/2 tsp 🌶️ Black pepper　to taste 🫓 Other 🫓 Flour tortillas　4 🍋 Lime (for finishing)　1/2 🥑 Easy Guacamole 🥑 Avocado　1 🍋 Lime juice　1/2 lime 🧂 Salt　1/4 tsp 🍅 Mini Tomato Salsa 🍅 Cherry tomatoes　5 🧅 Onion (minced)　1/8 🍋 Lime juice　1/2 lime 🧂 Salt　1/4 tsp 👩‍🍳 Instructions 1️⃣ 🔪 Cut chicken into strips, peppers into strips, onion (1/2) into thin slices for fajita and (1/8) into minced for salsa. Quarter the cherry tomatoes. 2️⃣ 🍗 Mix chicken with olive oil, lime juice, all spices, salt, and pepper. Leave for 10–20 minutes. 3️⃣ 🥑 Mash avocado with a fork. Add lime juice and salt. Mix. Guacamole done! 4️⃣ 🍅 Mix cherry tomatoes, onion, lime juice, and salt in a bowl. Salsa done! 5️⃣ 🔥 Heat olive oil (approx. 2 tsp) in a pan on high heat. Stir-fry onion and peppers for 3–4 minutes until lightly charred. Set aside. 6️⃣ 🍗 In the same pan, cook chicken on high heat for 4–5 minutes. Once cooked through, return vegetables and stir-fry together for 30 seconds. 7️⃣ 🫓 Warm tortillas in a pan for 20–30 seconds each side. 8️⃣ 🎉 Layer onto tortillas: guacamole → chicken fajita → salsa. Squeeze lime over everything and done! 💡 Recipe Note The quantities and steps in this recipe may be slightly different from what you see in the video.
