Silent Hill 3 Glitchless Normal Difficulty Speedrun (FORMER WORLD RECORD)

Silent Hill 3 speedrunning has undergone a lot of rule changes in the past year. Previously, runs were typically compared using In-Game Time, or IGT, meaning that the final time on the results screen was the compared time between runners. However, techniques were discovered that can purposefully alter the IGT, such as quick saving and quick loading, alt+tabbing out of the game window, spamming alt+enter to adjust the window/fullscreen aspect of the game, and even simply mashing the "use equipped item" button was discovered to artificially lower the IGT. Because of this, the speedrunning community decided to instead start timing runs using Real Time, or RTA, with load times removed. Since the timing rules were changed, the speedrun leaderboards have been split into many new categories, depending on how many glitches are used, and what difficulty being run on. This run is using the "True Glitchless" set of rules, meaning that I am not allowed to do anything that would manipulate the IGT, I am not allowed to quick save, quick load, clip out of bounds by using specific monsters attacks, or use any other type of intentional glitches. This run is performed on the Normal Action and Normal Riddle difficulty options. For the current speedrun leaderboards, there are no other submissions for this specific category, making this run a technical "World Record", however I was still using the old script for tracking IGT with my timer, instead of using the new RTA with loads removed timer script, meaning I will likely perform the run again, with the proper timer, before submitting it to the official leaderboards.
