RunCam Thumb 2 v Thumb Pro v1 Camera Test Yorkshire Countryside Drone (2024)

The RunCam Thumb 2 is a defo Thumbs up from me, its is a very able and true to life camera, a good few improvements on the earlier Thumb Pro version, mainly better resolution, now 4k at 60fps and much sharper than the previous camera (at 4k); the Auto White Black setting works really well, although not perfect it is much better than others i`ve used with a much more finely graduated range helping it achieve more stable colours. The WDR wide dynamic range works nicely too. The Runcam Thumb Pro is still great especially for lightweight quads, and a fair price at ten quid less than the new version ! Considering its low price, this is a fantastic small bit of camera kit , prob the best out there for under £100, i`m content with the purchase, value, quality and light weight.
