Today I travelled to (my home town) Dundalk to see the Irish fuel and cost-of-living protest for myself. Across the country people are struggling with rising costs groceries, electricity, heating and diesel and many feel they’ve reached the point where they have no other option but to take to the streets and make their voices heard. This video isn’t about politics. It’s simply showing what’s happening on the ground in Ireland right now, speaking to people who turned up, and letting them explain why they felt they had to protest.
