Therefore, I've created a video summarizing the things you should prepare in advance regarding the ever-evolving immigration system. This video explains how to register for the E-Arrival card (Republic of Korea Electronic Entry Declaration Form), which is required for entry into Korea. Registration can be done on both PCs and smartphones, but not on feature phones. Also, there is no app; registration is only possible via the website or homepage listed below or the QR code in the video. There are no fees whatsoever. This guide is current as of April 2026. The sections for "Previous Departure City" and "Next Destination" have been discontinued (May 2026). Application for K-ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is waived until December 31, 2026. The situation after 2027 is undecided.
