Why is Rolex so divisive? If there's one brand in the watchmaking world that divides enthusiasts and fuels all sorts of heated debates, it's Rolex! But what makes this brand so loved and hated? Why, in the watchmaking landscape, is there Rolex and then...everyone else? And above all, how did the brand with the crown manage to forge such a reputation over time? That's what I propose to analyze in this special episode. As you know, I rarely talk about Rolex on my channel, but to be honest, it was partly you who gave me the idea. Through a barrage of questions, private messages, and strong opinions, I wanted to share my observations and analysis of this brand that leaves no one indifferent. And then, I wanted to understand why, for as long as I can remember, Rolex has either made some people's eyes light up...or, conversely, provoked a kind of rejection, almost disgust...
