Come along on the hunt for fossil SHARK TEETH in Florida. We explore the beautiful Stump Pass State Park in Englewood, Florida. This is an incredible area for all ages to enjoy nature and sift for fossil shark teeth on the Gulf Coast of Florida. We show you our methods for finding shark teeth as well as what type of spot to look for and where these ancient fossils can be found. Florida spent millions of years under water during the Miocene Epoch. During that time period, the shallow seas in the area that is now the Gulf Coast of Florida thrived with abundant marine life. This was a perfect environment for sharks including the massive Megalodon.
