Mitsubishi ASX 2025 review: ES Street | Should you buy or avoid this small SUV rival to Kia Seltos?

The 2025 Mitsubishi ASX is one of the most established models in the Australia's mainstream small SUV segment. Of course, that's an easy feat to achieve when your current model is more than 14 years old. Yep, the first generation is less two years away from getting its learner's driving licence locally. That said, the Japanese brand is doing its best to keep the ASX fresh in a sea of increasingly newer (read: more advanced) rivals, including the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Kona and Toyota Corolla Cross to name a few. To that end, another model-year update has been applied, with the most recent one introducing range-wide price rises but adding lane departure warning to two grades. In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Emily Agar and her family of three spend a week living with the ASX's mid-range ES grade – optioned with the new sporty-looking Street Accessory Pack – to find out if it's still worth buying at this point in time. #Mitsubishi #ASX #Review -- Timecodes: 00:00 Intro 00:36 Pricing and features 01:27 Design 02:45 Practicality 05:14 Under the bonnet 05:42 Driving 06:46 Efficiency 07:22 Safety 08:03 Ownership 08:34 Verdict -- Read Emily's full review: https://bit.ly/3AGg19m Check out our Mitsubishi ASX hub: https://bit.ly/3sBHXr8 Find more SUVs: https://bit.ly/3QVs1X1 Visit our Urban Guide: https://bit.ly/3NAZFDa -- CarsGuide - Go beyond the test drive Visit our website for News, Reviews, Advice and more: https://www.carsguide.com.au Subscribe to our YouTube channel:    / carsguide   Like our Facebook page:   / carsguide.australia   Follow our Instagram profile:   / carsguideaus   Follow our TikTok profile:   / carsguide.com.au   Follow our X profile: https://www.x.com/CarsGuide Follow our LinkedIn page:   / carsguide-com-au
