Skoda Epiq: Wer braucht dieses Auto?

Following the Cupra Raval and the electric VW ID family, Skoda has now unveiled its new electric city SUV. The Skoda Epiq is the first model to fully embody the Czech brand's new "Modern Solid" design language. At 4.17 meters long, the compact electric vehicle slots in below the Elroq as an electric alternative to the Kamiq. Nevertheless, it doesn't compromise on typical "Simply Clever" solutions and plenty of space: the trunk swallows an impressive 475 to 1,344 liters. Technically, the Epiq is based on the new MEB+ platform and is front-wheel drive. Customers can choose between two battery sizes (37 kWh LFP and 52 kWh NCM) and three power levels. The top model delivers 211 hp and 290 Nm of torque. This should enable a range of up to 430 km according to WLTP. Depending on the variant, charging is possible at up to 133 kW (DC), allowing the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in under 30 minutes. It also features a practical vehicle-to-load (V2L) function and a towing capacity of up to 1.2 tons. The market launch is planned for September 2026, with the compact SUV expected to start at an attractive price of €25,900.
