Rasiglia is a picturesque town known as "Borgo dei ruscelli" or "Venice of Umbria", due to the waterways that cross the small center of the town. Thanks to those waterways, a flourishing textile industry developed since the Middle Ages; the energy from the water is used to move the textile frames.
