🌿 This time we visited an interesting place in the community of El Coco, Villa Tapia, in the Hermanas Mirabal province, where we were able to appreciate the abundance and richness of Dominican rural life. During this tour, we learned about the raising of Creole and Nubian goats, pigs, ducks, chickens, guinea fowl, geese, turkeys, and many other species that are part of daily life in the countryside. We also spent time with Niño, who welcomed us with great kindness and showed us how these animals are cared for and handled. Rural life continues to be an example of hard work, dedication, and love for nature, and places like this remind us of the importance of the countryside for our food and our traditions.
