Services include: academic tutoring, Seediq culture and songs learning, character education, dance, English, financial management… [📍Grandma Chen Chou Social Welfare Foundation] Official Website: https://lst.org.tw/ In 1983, Grandma Chen Chou led volunteers to establish the "Yuqing Palace Liangxian Hall Charity Association," which provided scholarships for underprivileged children, poverty relief, and youth counseling. To ensure transparency in its operations, it transformed into a social welfare foundation and was renamed the "Grandma Chen Chou Social Welfare Foundation" this year. The foundation focuses on children, youth, and their families, developing holistic care services with "love, care, and companionship" as its core service philosophy. In 1999, Grandma Chen Chou donated 1500 ping (approximately 165 square meters) of land, allowing the business to operate independently. In gratitude for Grandma Chen Chou's kindness, it was initially named "Chen Chou Youth Camp," and later renamed "Federation for Children and Families Hope School." Services include providing placement for girls aged 12-18 entrusted by county and municipal governments and courts. Because of the highly effective preventative healthcare, the number of children with polio gradually decreased, but the number of children from families experiencing hardship increased. In 1980, it was renamed "Anisev Children's Home." In 2013, "Nantou Home" was established in Nantou. Services include providing placement services for children and adolescents aged 6-18 from impoverished, orphaned, single-parent, or families experiencing major hardship or loss of support. Founded in 2002, with the mission of "improving the learning achievements and self-confidence of children in underserved rural areas," it provides three major service strategies: "educational support, social work counseling, and graduate follow-up."
