Yet the Lord is not distant; He hears the cries of His people (Psalm 34:17) and promises not abandonment, but renewal. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus has conquered sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:20), securing a living hope that is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). The prophets foresaw a day when the blind would see and the lame would leap (Isaiah 35:5–6), when thorns would give way to flourishing life (Isaiah 55:13). Revelation reveals the culmination of that promise: the Lamb who was slain now reigns (Revelation 5:9), and He will wipe away every tear (Revelation 21:4) as He declares, “Behold, I am making all things new” (Revelation 21:5). "You Will Make All Things New" invites the church to sing in the tension between present sorrow and future glory — anchored in the finished victory of Christ and the certain hope of His coming kingdom.
